Blogging ? More Female Discrimination?

I read an article the other day by some feminist claiming that blogging was another sign of female oppression due to the small numbers of women on the Internet who had their own websites and blogs. She ranted on and on about how women couldn?t get their message across because nearly 90% of blogs are run by men and this somehow oppressed women. By the time I?d read the article I was laughing at this tirade of illogical waffle.
Firstly, anyone can run a blog. It?s free and easy to get started. You don?t need anyone?s permission or any cash to start your own blog. The only factual bit about the feminist?s article was the statistic that men run 90% of blogs. Why is this? Could it be that the only reason for this overwhelming majority is that you have to be self-motivated and this is where females are lacking?
All new technology is embraced by men before women, this always seems to be the case. Once the technology in question is a proven and everyday item women come along and claim that they were using it all along. The early days of computing, IT and the Internet were all pioneered by men. A few women did join in but were pretty much a small minority. Feminists will have you believe all that nonsense about glass ceilings but in reality the reason why women do not pioneer new technology is due to reluctance on their part. The ?can?t be bothered? glass ceiling that women impose on themselves. Blogging is yet another example of female inactivity and a lack of risk-driven go get ?em. The few female blogs that do exist are largely narcissistic ?all about me? type blogs. They?re usually pink and pseudo-cute and the author usually writes about her favourite topic?.herself. Many look like they?re advertising for dates…….all feature cats. Men, on the other hand, write blogs about every subject you can mention. Go to the Internet and you can find a blog about any subject under the sun and it?s author will most likely be male. Like all things in life, the first requirement to achieve any goal or ambition is the ability to get off your own backside (butt for Americans). For many this in itself is a Herculean task. Throughout history, men have been the inventors, the pioneers in business, technology, science, exploration and all the arts. We live in a world where this simple fact has been airbrushed from history because it annoys feminists and is a constant reminder that men have something that women will never have?..pioneering spirit. No matter what the feminists do to change this they never will because men are driven and women are not. If you put two men with two cars together they will always try to improve their vehicle to outdo the other man. They may even race them to see who can tweak just a little more power from their engines. Soon they?ll have dropped the suspension and perhaps sent away for a new camshaft. This is how men work, a friendly rivalry that leads to improvement and better technology. Women have no ambition to do this because that?s the way they are. Females crave security and a known environment, without risks or surprises. The result is stagnation. It is men who drive our civilisation forward because it?s in men?s nature to do this.Simply put?.men have ?The Right Stuff?.
